CounterCraft prepares for Infosecurity Europe 2018

Infosecurity 2018

Our team of deception artists are keeping one eye on the weather forecast and another on your adversaries as they get set to attend Infosecurity Europe 2018. They’ll be joining the cyber security community at London Olympia for three days of insights, innovation and networking, following a recent string of industry awards and the release of the new CounterCraft Cyber Deception Platform.

We haven’t long returned from the UK where we recently exhibited at CyberUK in Manchester as a proud member of the GCHQ Cyber Accelerator Alumni, marking one year since CounterCraft graduated from the inaugural GCHQ Cyber Accelerator Programme.

This will be our second year exhibiting at Infosecurity Europe, and the opportunity to gain greater visibility in the UK symbolises a key milestone in our plans to become the go-to solution for enterprise deception technology across the whole of Europe.

CounterCraft achieved Top 100 status in the Red Herring Europe 2018 awards last month and collected the Info Security Product Guide Global Excellence award for Startup of the Year during a successful week at RSA Conference San Francisco. Infosecurity Europe 2018 represents a fantastic opportunity to showcase our pioneering deception technology solution to the UK market and exchange use cases with fellow cyber security professionals as we make headway with our ambitious global expansion strategy. We’re also focused on strengthening and developing our technological and business partnerships in each region as we take steps to realise this growth strategy.

Our latest product release includes real-time responses and enables deception campaign automation across a complete range of digital assets. Coupled with an advanced API suite, we’re able to deliver intelligent deception, already recognised as radical and groundbreaking, to the international information technology and security markets.

Dan Brett, CSO and founder commented: “The recognition that CounterCraft is receiving worldwide allows us to embrace ambitious objectives for 2018. We’re hiring top cybersec talent to enhance our expertise and enable us to innovate at the necessary pace in response to the dynamic threat landscape we’re all up against.”

Crucially, CounterCraft provides advanced technology to expose adversaries’ motives and operating models, supplying highly actionable threat intelligence that adds huge value to any organisation’s security posture. Our multi-layered approach to deploying automated deception campaigns has been proven to reduce costs by up to 90% compared to manual deception techniques.

We listened to more and more examples of organisations applying deception across their whole security posture at this year’s RSA Conference San Francisco. It’s clear that deception is coming of age, and we’re confident that Infosecurity Europe 2018 will provide more valuable learnings for CounterCraft that will serve to fuel our growth strategy and relentless product development.
