While the role will be 100% remote working it is necessary to be able to assist meetings in person in Singapore as and when required. Additionally, the role may require travelling to customers and potential customers across the Asia Pacific region.

CounterCraft is looking for a Technical Presales Consultant with a university or equivalent qualification in Engineering up to 2 years of experience in cybersecurity – Deception to join our team in Singapore.
This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise during the sales process, customer enablement, and commercial collaboration, supporting customer-facing technical engagements.
The ideal candidate has a solid technical foundation in cybersecurity, with awareness or experience in deception technologies and techniques being highly desirable. This position is well suited for a highly motivated and success driven junior engineer eager to grow into a motivated customer-facing, business-oriented technical role.
What You’ll Do
- Provide technical presales support to the commercial team throughout the sales cycle
- Prepare and deliver bespoke technical product presentations, demos, and workshops to prospective and existing customers
- Support technical training and enablement for customers and internal teams
- Collaborate with sales to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Contribute to the technical design and elaboration of customer proposals, RFPs, and technical documentation
- Act as a technical point of contact and lead during proof-of-concept (PoC) activities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, with a focus on deception-based security solutions
Nice to Have
- Cybersecurity certifications (e.g. Security+, CEH, vendor-specific certifications)
- Experience supporting PoCs or customer pilots
- Familiarity with cloud environments and enterprise security architectures
This role offers a strong and fast learning curve, exposure to customers and real-world cybersecurity challenges, and the opportunity to grow into a senior presales or cybersecurity consultant role.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
- 0–2 years of professional experience in cybersecurity (SOC, security engineering, consulting, or presales roles)
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (network security, endpoints, threats, detection, response)
- Exposure to or strong interest in deception technologies (honeypots, lures, attack detection, threat intelligence)
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong collaboration skills and interest in working closely with sales teams
- High level of written and verbal communication skills in English, able to present to customers in English when required.
