S21sec, Cyber Solutions by Thales, has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with CounterCraft, a leading cybersecurity firm, with the aim of exponentially increasing active defense globally to detect, reduce and prevent potential attacks that could compromise the security of organizations against the most advanced threats. This joint action will be carried out in the financial services, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, defense and security sectors, among others.

The Company’s extensive cybersecurity expertise, coupled with CounterCraft’s innovative deception technology, will enable organizations to actively defend their data in real time. Through this deception-based tool, they will be able to detect and disrupt attacks and threats within network environments in an agile way, supercharging other detection and response technologies capable of manipulating the adversary. These solutions are easy to install, highly scalable and cloud ready.

Using CounterCraft’s innovative deception technology, S21Sec is improving its global active defense strategy by detecting threats at an early stage and gathering personalized and actionable intelligence.

Pablo Echevarría, general manager of S21sec in Iberia, has declared: “Having the latest cutting-edge technology is fundamental for the Group and, for this reason, we have decided to start this collaboration with CounterCraft, a partner that will allow us to reinforce active defense at a global level through its innovative deception technology. This alliance is a breakthrough for organizations in terms of cybersecurity, as we will provide our clients with the most advanced solutions against the highest level of cybercrime, minimizing or preventing any type of attack”.

“We are very pleased to partner with S21sec to bring our sophisticated active defense technology to financial services, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, defense, and security sectors across the world”, said Christian Stanford, VP of Global Channels at CounterCraft. “The impact we can make with S21sec is going to exponentially improve the security of the world’s most important organizations.”

This collaboration of global scope represents a truly significant advance against cybercrime. According to the latest Thales Group report ‘Threats to Data Security’, based on a survey of nearly 3,000 IT and security professionals in 18 countries, around half of the experts believe that security threats are increasing in volume and severity, specifically ransomware attacks. Also, according to the ‘Threat Landscape Report’ by S21sec, one of the European leaders in cybersecurity services acquired by Thales Group in 2022, Spain was the victim of 41% more cyberattacks in the second semester of 2022, compared to the previous six months.

The main objective of this alliance is to detect, reduce and prevent potential attacks that threaten the security of organizations.
