As we reflect on the year 2023, we are incredibly proud of the progress we have made as a company and the positive impact we have had on our customers’ security posture. We have faced many challenges along the way, but our team has demonstrated resilience, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to delivering a cutting-edge cybersecurity solution that keeps our customers one step ahead.
A Year of Growth and Recognition
2023 has been a year of significant growth for CounterCraft. Our scalable, adversary-generated threat detection, powered by deception, is proving to be one of the best tools out there today for stopping advanced threats. CounterCraft delivers alerts and intel generated by adversaries in real time, enabling organizations to focus on immediate remediation and avoid the next breach. We have expanded our customer base, established ourselves as a leader in the cybersecurity industry, and received recognition for our innovation and agility.
In a testament to our commitment to customer focused organization, we have received positive feedback and thanks from customers, including a growing number of nation-states. It is incredibly powerful to receive thanks from the security team of a nation state security team for detecting threats and providing unique actionable threat intelligence in real time.
Our technology advancements have also been recognized. We were named one of Fast Company’s Top 50 Most Innovative Companies in the world. To create the 2023 list, a team of more than four dozen Fast Company editors and writers sought out groundbreaking businesses across 54 industries in every region of the world. The organizations they select meet high standards for demonstrating innovation and according to the magazine, “lead their fields and are transforming the world.” Even better? We were ranked #2 in the most Innovative Security Companies.
We are thrilled to announce that during this year’s XVII STIC CCN-CERT Cybersecurity Conference, the largest in Spain, our CTO and co-founder David Barroso was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in Cybersecurity by Spain’s Defense Minister Margarita Robles.
Growing our partner relationships has also been key to our success. We have dramatically expanded our partner relationships, adding Value Added Distribution in the UK, Middle East and US as well as partnering with a range of organizations like Accenture, Deloitte and Thales. We are working closely with a number of leading MSSPs to deliver our solutions to a wider audience.
Facing Today’s Cybersecurity Challenges with Innovation
The cybersecurity landscape in 2023 has been as challenging as ever, with more and more sophisticated attacks. Despite (or because of) the challenges, we have seen an increasing demand for our unique approach to threat detection and intelligence gathering. We are constantly adapting our solutions to meet the needs of our customers and address the latest threats. Our deception technology has proven to be a valuable asset for our customers, enabling them to proactively identify and thwart attacks—we deliver the outcomes that today’s security tools can’t.
Why is our tech so valuable? We have developed deep telemetry capabilities that provide near real-time, comprehensive visibility into attacker activity. We have also made significant progress in cloud deployment and integration with various cloud providers.
Furthermore, we have continuously expanded our threat actor database and have mapped all our TTPs to MITRE and NIST frameworks. This ensures that our customers have streamlined access to the most up-to-date threat intelligence.
CounterCraft’s solution stands out from competitors, thanks to both faster deployment and better results. Our deception technology provides a one-step-ahead approach to threat detection, allowing our customers to proactively identify and thwart attacks before they can cause damage.
2024 and Beyond: A Year of Growth and Opportunity
As we look to the future, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. We are committed to growing our business and expanding into new markets. We are also focused on addressing the OT challenges that our customers face.
We also see the intelligent use of AI becoming more important to defeat our adversaries along with generating more intel about them and their actions. Our skilled team is actively exploring the effective use of AI in improving threat detection and collection capabilities.
