A new year has just begun, and already there’s reason to celebrate: CounterCraft and PwC, leading cybersecurity companies, recently reached a global strategic collaboration agreement. PwC will provide digital counterintelligence consulting services and the CounterCraft Cyber Deception solution to large international companies. Through this alliance, PwC reinforces its cybersecurity services portfolio and CounterCraft strengthens its international presence for the next few years.

With the increase and evolution of cybercrimes worldwide, deception technology has become a groundbreaking cybersecurity approach for organisations. According to Juan Carlos Díaz García, Cyber Security Director at PwC Spain, “Through this agreement, we’ll provide our customers with advanced solutions to fight against borderless cybercrime”.

In a recent article published on LinkedIn, he also highlights that PwC chose CounterCraft because their solution is “Advanced to the point of being invisible, and so flexible that it would allow the design of ad-hoc scenarios for each of those involved”.

For his part, Raúl Pérez García, Regional VP Enterprise Sales at CounterCraft, says that “PwC has both the knowledge about large organisations’ business needs and the experience in cybersecurity that are required to provide excellent digital counterintelligence consulting. This agreement makes us go further in our expansion and support plan for international clients”.

Global Cyber Deception Technology

With this agreement, PwC joins the list of CounterCraft’s service providers, among which are companies such as ElevenPaths (Telefónica Cyber Security Unit), BOTECH FPIGMV and Innotec by Entelgy.

The CounterCraft Cyber Deception Platform allows organisations to gain the upper hand in the cat-and-mouse game that is cybersecurity, through synthetic environments designed to lure attackers into a controlled environment. This way, cybersecurity teams can study them to learn more about their motivation, techniques and procedures.

CounterCraft operates in Europe, Latam, the US and the Middle East, and with this agreement strengthens its international presence. The company already has a full agenda for 2020, which will include participation in the most important cybersecurity trade shows and conferences worldwide. In February we’ll be showcasing our cutting-edge technology and the latest updates regarding our cyber deception platform at the RSA Conference 2020 in San Francisco, booth #3343.
